Rural blocks come with their own set of considerations, and this Darley property was no exception. With open space to work with but a site that needed careful levelling, we built a fully raised pool surround that sits cleanly within the landscape and gives the family a proper outdoor space to use year-round.
The pool itself is the Leisure Pools Acclaim in Graphite Grey, at 12.15 metres. It’s a big swim. The elegant graphite grey gelcoat sits beautifully against the light exposed aggregate surrounds and the charcoal pool coping, giving the whole area a grounded, considered look that suits the rural setting without trying too hard.
Fencing runs the perimeter with a mix of vertical steel and timber posts, keeping things practical without closing the space in. There’s room for a dining setting, a bit of lawn, and enough breathing space to actually enjoy the backyard rather than just maintain it.
This is the kind of build we enjoy. A family on a bit of land who wanted something done properly, with plenty of room to get the job done right.
