When this young Bacchus Marsh family built their new home, the pool was always part of the plan. And it shows. Everything here has been thought through, from the pool itself to the fencing, the paving and the pool house that anchors the whole space.
The Leisure Pools Acclaim 8 in Silver Grey is a great match for the home’s clean, modern lines. The Silver Grey gelcoat keeps the water looking bright and fresh, and paired with the white stone pavers and frameless glass fencing, the whole area feels open and uncluttered. Glass was the right choice here. It keeps the yard connected and means you can keep an eye on little ones without any visual barriers in the way.
The pool house is what really sets this one apart. White weatherboard, black-framed sliding doors, festoon lights across the roofline. It complements the architecture of the main house without trying to copy it, and gives the family a proper space to enjoy the backyard in every season, not just summer. Somewhere to store the gear, get changed, or sit in the shade while the kids wear themselves out in the water.
Established plantings and a Japanese maple soften the edges and give the space some warmth. It’s a backyard built to grow into.
