New house, new suburb, new backyard. This Greenvale family built their home from the ground up and made sure the pool was part of the plan from day one.
The Leisure Pools Absolute 8 in Silver Grey fits the block well. It’s a smart size for a suburban allotment, long enough to swim properly and wide enough that the integrated spa doesn’t feel squeezed in. The Silver Grey gelcoat keeps the water looking crisp and clean, and it works well alongside the light stone pavers and the frameless glass fencing that runs the perimeter.
What makes this one stand out is everything happening around the pool. A full basketball half-court sits alongside it, synthetic lawn runs down one side and the home itself, double storey brick with a timber deck and covered alfresco, wraps around the space in a way that makes the whole backyard feel connected. The pool lit up at dusk is a good look.
This is a backyard that was designed to be used. The pool is just one part of it, and it holds its own.
